After finding out about it on Scripting News, I have started listening to the podcast “The History of Rock and Roll in 500 Songs”. Episode 2 had some neat history on labor disputes during World War 2 that greatly affected the music industry – I really enjoyed it! 2 down, 153 to go (the podcast is planned to take 5 years to get to 500 songs).
Looks like FeedLand is getting closer to a public release – yay!
Bluesky, Jack Dorsey’s group working on a decentralized web protocol, has released the AT Protocol, with some documentation and chance to sign up for a beta – I will wait until there are some apps to play with…

Jan, I published a “Note” with the IndieBlocks plugin, but it is not showing up on my home page. When I click on the View link for the post in the Dashboard, I get an error message saying that the page does not exist. Any ideas?

Back in July 2022, Dave Winer said he never suggested people should run their own web server. However, in the last week, he tweeted a link to this post from 2015 where he says “If you’re a journalism educator, please make sure every new journalist you graduate has the ability to run a server, install blogging and river software”. Just saying…let’s be consistent…
